Even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:14-16

I have analyzed the scriptures about belief and how they relate to salvation and found a very direct correlation. In fact the overwhelming weight of scripture, as I see it, bears out that one is saved by simple belief in the gospel message.
My problem over the past five or ten years is trying to convince others that salvation occurs through simple belief in the gospel message. Instead of trying to convince, I just started preaching the message to every creature I came across and watching the message do it's work. Comparing my experience and scripture to what I saw happening in the evangelical church led me to draw some conclusions which I am trying to tell others about. Namely that it doesn't take a sinner's prayer.
Below are just some of the scriptures I have found to support my position that salvation occurs at the point of belief in the gospel.
